About Me

My name is Donovan.  Is there anything else to say?  Well, since this is my “About Me” page I guess I should share a little.  I am a husband, step-dad, consultant, photographer, separated member of the US Air Force, Guillain-Barré Syndrome survivor and most of all child of the living God.

I have a great family.  I have a loving wife that is out to reach all the women she can thru a ministry that is slowly beginning to evolve.  My kids are loving and caring creatures that may some day learn to like each other all the time and not just when it is in their best interests.  Aren’t kids great?

In mid-2008 I left the Air Force and moved back to the desert where I currently work as a consultant.  The plan is for me to take the reigns in about 10 years.  I am working for my father who is the current president and one day I will step into his shoes, although I think my feet are a little bigger.  Our work site…

My hobby is photography.  I love taking pictures of any kind.  People have been a big piece of my work thus far, but I like abstract and macro work as well.  Things have been kinda slow ever since I got sick but I am slowly getting back into the swing of things.  See some of my work…

That leads me to the Guillain-Barré Syndrome.  This has consumed my life ever since December 26, 2008 when I first started feeling symptoms and even more so on January 2, 2009 when I was diagnosed and 75% paralyzed.   Read more…

Finally I am a child of the King of Kings!  This is by no means that last thing in my life, it is the first.  I am however human and therefore not perfect and would love to have a better relationship with my heavenly Father.  I am working on it and I know that if it were not for him I would not be here today.
